MiMOSA Live in Honolulu 3.09.12
As most of you may or may not know, I’ve been messing with video and editing lately. When I found out my favorite dubstep artist was coming to the island I dug deep to make the connections that would get me backstage filming him. It’s an island, so I didn’t have to dig far 
I was able to get access and film Tigran Mimosa from backstage and capture his explosive performance. I also to some snap shots which you can see in the video and the gallery below. Enjoy!

Get perfect focus when using f/1.4 Aperture!!
I wanted to share the way I use the live view screen when shooting with a shallow depth of field. Many times I have been disappointed with the auto focus mechanism. When shooting at f/1.4 or other wide apertures, like 2.8, it is impossible to get the focus tack sharp when using the auto focus. Hopefully this helps you get sharper images!
Model Release Forms made easy!
There’s a couple of cool apps out there that will make your life as a photographer just a bit better. I found a couple of model release form apps, but the best two are:
“iRelease” and “EasyRelease”
Which one is better? Well, they are both $9.99 in the app store. And though EasyRelease gets a head nod from AdoramaTV, iRelease looks a little easier to use. You decide! I have listed two videos that show the difference.
