Objects that coincide with each other on the same line throughout the image to create unity and movement are called coincidences.  They adhere to the Gestalt Psychology law of continuity, much like radiating lines and arabesques. When the lines of your photo or art line up across the form and the background, you will start to create some unity, as well as order. It’s like the way a jigsaw puzzle might fit together, but the pieces of your puzzle will be hidden to the layman.
