How’s everyone been doing? Today we are taking a look at this Degas painting called “L’Absinthe” which was quite the controversial piece back in it’s day. In fact, it was booed off of the easel in 1892. The characters are suppose to represent the social isolation in Paris during a period of rapid growth. The drink, Absinthe, seems to always circle a bit of controversy and story telling.
