Some photographers are entirely focused on the subject. What’s the models pose, how’s her hair look, is the makeup good, does the wardrobe work well? Thinking of all of these things, but not equally concerned with the background and how the subject fits within it. In order to design your image as a master you must think as the master painters did. You must link the foreground with the background and present it as a whole.
