Today we have an interesting video and article that covers, what I think, is the number one hack for mastering composition. The video explains and demonstrates a powerful technique called “figure-ground relationship.” Most of you are familiar with it, but you may be prioritizing placement of your subject to a grid, instead of paying attention to the background. They must work hand-in-hand in order to have a powerful composition.

I will also cover what could be improved with some of the drone and gimbal shots. With new technology, there is a bit of a learning curve to become familiar with the tool (for me anyway). This makes composition much more difficult.
