This painting “Lofty Mount Lu” was painted by a chinese master by the name of Shen Zhou in 1467 when he was 40. If great designers like Da Vinci (1452), Michaelangelo (1475), and Patinir (1480) were all born after Shen Zhou, could they have learned some of their skills by analyzing some of Zhou’s paintings? I think it’s entirely possible.
